Hi everyone! I’m trying to get back on track with these reading blogs, so that is my ONLY reading plan for this week.

Monday, March 12, 2021:

Right now it is the end of the day and I have to tell you something, I haven’t read A THING. I had a video call early and before that, I was cleaning my computer and listening to the Currently Reading Podcast. After that I had my second Movie Monday with my boyfriend, we watched Legally Blonde because he hasn’t seen it before, and after that, I was just not in the mood to read.

Tuesday, March 13, 2021:

SO my plan for today is to keep working on my final project of the class I’m taking, read a bit, and play some Sims 4.

Sure, sure, working, sure. I spent EVERY SECOND OF THE AFTERNOON playing The Sims 4! I was building something and listening to some more Currently Reading Podcast (I’m trying to catch up with it). So after being from 12 pm to 5 pm playing, I decided to read something. I was struggling with what book to pick so I decided to try to finish a book for one of the upcoming Calibrating my reads. I had to put down this book because I was not feeling it, I don’t care at all about the characters and there is something about the grammar (in some sentences) in this book that makes me disconnect from the story, BUT I want to know how it ends because the people that like this book enjoys the “plot twist” at the end and I want to know WHAT IT IS.

I left this book at 30% right now, after an hour and a half of reading I’m 60% into it. Now I need a break or I’ll put this book down again, so I’m going to journal for a bit and watch the last hour of Nahomy’s live reading sprints.

Wednesday, March 14, 2021:

Well, last night I fell asleep reading, but I got until 72% I think, so I might finish this today. Right now I’m going to have breakfast while watching some Books with Chloe’s reading blogs (because I am SOO behind with her content) and after that, I’ll read for a bit and get to what I have scheduled for the day, INCLUDING working on my project. See you later!

Well, I finished the book, and I can understand why people hate it and why people love it. But if you want to see more about that, you’ll have to wait till that post comes out. A hint is not the next one coming up. I changed some things in my project and tried to arrange it as it is supposed to be but I don’t have the layout, so I had to reach out to the professor for it.

At night I’m going to spend some time watching The Challenge and other TV shows with my grandmother and maybe reading a bit of another book from Calibrating my reads (the one coming out the sooner.

Thursday, March 15, 2021:

This day is a mess hahaha. I was supposed to go out for an appointment but something happened with the paperwork so it was canceled. To be honest, it is 1:36 pm and I haven’t done a thing. And the document I asked for, I didn’t receive it so I have to wing it! So that is my plan today, try to arrange all this info in the best way possible and in the evening, watch the Latin America Music Awards with my grandmother.

I want to rant a bit, WHY PEOPLE WANT EVERYTHING AT HAND?! I know you should strive to do well and ask for help and everything. But YOU should work, not lay down and expect others to do the work and send it to you so you don’t have to work. If you have been reading my reading blogs (the ones that make a little sense) you should know that I have a class project for almost a month now. And you know that every week I try to do progress on it, no matter how little it is. But I have this classmate who, for some reason, picked ME to “ask for help”, but FIRST OF ALL he asks for help THE DAY BEFORE we have to hand in our progress. Second, he just wants me to send him my work. Third, he wants me to tell him to step by step what we have to do, and you know what? THE PROFESSOR GAVE EVERYTHING IN THE POWER POINTS! He doesn’t want to spend time doing this, he won’t want to read the power points or watch the classes again to “understand the work”. I don’t know him, I don’t know how he is as a student so I don’t want to trust him with the work I put effort into doing it and then I won’t get a good grade because of him copying me. I am the kind of person that I would rather help you than be selfish, but I can’t with him and I have a bad feeling about him too. So I needed to rant because I don’t understand how you leave a project this big to one week before the deadline, how you got from class A to B without reading instructions, and how someone can be so happy without putting effort into doing something.

Friday, March 16, 2021:

Well, I got to read like 20 pages of one of my Calibrating my books project and after that I just watched an episode of The Great British Baking Show and that’s all.
